No two painted items are exactly the same. There will be slight variations in color because of hand mixing our paints and our unique styles of painting.
Finishes:
- Light - You will see a little hints of the underneath color around the edges, knob and latch.
- Heavy - Made to look like a real antique piece that has been around for many years! Could see more than two colors underneath and variation of the overall color

Looks amazing and beautiful! The Pie Safe was exactly what I was looking for. The color and the distressing was perfect. My Pie Safe was done in blue with heavy distressing and sits perfectly in my living room. The shipping was also great. I had it shipped to Michigan and it was in perfect condition. Again such a perfect item! Thank You Red Fox Primitives!

I absolutely love this pie safe! It’s so well made, with great attention to detail. It looks like an authentic piece. It’s exactly what I was looking for. This is my second time ordering a cupboard from red fox, and I’ve been been so happy with the exceptional quality of their work. Delivery was also scheduled and very convenient, everything was very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Looking forward to having this piece for years to come.

I contacted Katie about the heritage pie safe, asking if i could Make some modifications. She couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant to work with!! When my piece arrived i couldn’t have been more pleased♥️ I asked For it to be heavily distressed and honestly if you didn’t know it, you would think it was in fact a very old pie safe. I recommend this husband and wife duo 100%!! Fabulous work, fabulous to work with, and packaged wonderfully to prevent any damage in the shipping process.

Found this shop on line and went to see them. Ordered the pie safe in grey/blue and loved it. They did an excellent job and were very friendly to work with.

Shipping & Delivery
How soon does my order ship?
-Depends on which items you have order. If its one of our handmade furniture items, it could take 2-4 weeks. Our smaller handmade items take about 1-2 weeks. Our larger cupboards take 3-6 weeks. *Please note this can vary a little depending on our work flow* Feel free to call if you would like a more specific lead time: 610-572-2121
- If you order florals or home decor, those items will most likely ship out in 1-3 days
How do you ship?
- We ship using FedEx and you will be sent and e-mail once it ships and the tracking number.
How do you ship larger cupboards?
- We palletize every larger cupboard shipment ourselves to make sure its good to go once it leaves our doors.
- We use FedEx Freight which will deliver your cupboard to you curbside with a lift gate at delivery. *If you need inside delivery, you need to contact us prior to shipping because it will be an additional charge*
What if there is damage to my shipment?
- This is something that unfortunately can happen. Please take pictures of the box/pallet and the product damage right away and then call us! We will take care of rest!
